  "We had to make a cut in the picture demands, seeing as Urist was not in the mood to draw clouds all day. After crudely sketching the landscape, we agreed to take out part of the way up so that the painting would be easier to interpret. I personally think it came out quite well!" - Shurikane

  "Our blue-blooded bretheren have had time to get settled in and become part of the furniture. A time they used to gather incredible amounts of trinkets that our manager had trouble keeping track of. He eventually gave up, deciding against walking into the philosopher's room ever again from fear of crushing one of the countless amulets on the floor beneath his boot." - Shurikane
• Δ 14. SUPERSTRUCTURE - IV - Blood District Residences
  "The inner rooms are made a little more spacious and ergonomic to compensate for their lack of a window. They became surprizingly popular, especially among the most cave-adapted who had a hard time getting used to the torchlights in the main compound. Unsurprizingly, most of our champions favored the blood district as their living quarters." - Shurikane
• Δ 13. SUPERSTRUCTURE - III - Gold District Residences
  "Each room is fully furnished with one bed, one cabinet, one chest, one armor stand and one weapon rack, along with a view to the inside of Coppertop and a so-called artwork of 'Shifting Gem Technology' patented by our dear Urist. This allows newcomers to choose a room that flashes to their liking." - Shurikane

  "Most of the floors are gifted with a simple pattern of colors to bring some variety to the sights. Wherever we can, we add small decorations such as rose gold statues to remind the folks of our bretheren who have fallen in the making of this great project." - Shurikane

  "Temporarily used while the volcano was still full, the section fell into disuse when better and greater forges were built further below. In order to bring an extra cachet to the place, we converted it into a museum, its formerly hot underside now engraved with masterful images detailing out history." - Shurikane
• Δ 8. SUPERSTRUCTURE - I - Workshops
  "The inner superstructure of the pyramid consists of a large building surrounded in green class and built using nothing but rock blocks and metal bars. The workshops constitute the lowest levels, with an access stairway to the fortress entrance and the great mountain staircase, along with access passerelles to the farms." - Shurikane
• Δ 6. Waterworks
  "A simple set of water wheels powers the few pumps nearby. The farmers were ordered not to pick up the cave spider webs after we realized our stocks were full. This made for a rather glittering mess in the lower levels of this section - but the machinery remains fully functional despite." - Shurikane

  "We performed careful work around the base of the volcano to expand its capacity and allow ourself some head room when it came to directing the flow. These accessory ducts were necessary to properly flood the parts we wanted with the precious magma." - Shurikane
• Δ Flooding The Floor
  This marks the first, and hopefully last time I cheated on Dwarf Fortress. Hopelessly unable to get the magma to spread across the entire lowest Z-level, I built pumps in order to help but was dismayed to see that this too was insufficient. Sick and tired of waiting, and wanting the level to be pretty, I loaded up DFhack and painstakingly produced magma in every free square of this level. - Shurikane
