Ringcraft - 16 Early Summer by Darky

Map Description:

Noting much is going on in this 6 year old fortress. Everyone hang out in statue gardens outside and expecting king? which is soon to arrive. Rooms aren't ready though.

Point of Interest: Greeting hall

Long (about 150 tile long) hall that was one tile wide in early days with balista being placed here. First orc siege met its end here. - Darky

Above-ground meeting area to combat cave adaptation.

Δ 29. Processing Room
POWs are being stored here. Here they get undressed and ready for slaughter/ Their possessions dumped into pit (near the bed) that leads few z-levels down to my stockpiles. - Darky
Δ 28. Arena
Pretty much self-explanatory. Goblins being dumped from above Processing Room into middle of arena. Good for both melee and marksdwarves. I prefer training my soldiers this way - there is enough goblinite ore with 3 goblin races. - Darky

Δ 23. Microcline Bridge of Doom
Many orc veterans (mostly dead ones) remember this bridge, that hurls orks in different dirrections causing them to fall 8 z-levels. Not everyone survive. Too fast orcs get slaughterd by marksdwarves. - Darky

I don't need any more and I don't produce much lately, only enough for King's requirements. - Darky
Δ 17. Food workshops and gold vein
Not the best part of fortress
Also there is gold well with gold bucket, gold blocks and gold chain a little bit to the south. - Darky

Legendary
Something to behold
Also barracks nearby. - Darky
Δ Hive and artifact bed
Housing for most of my dwarves and legendary dwarves, including nobles. Most rooms are still empty and most of population live in barracks. I'll change this soon.

Bed placed in high-traffic area for good thoughts. - Darky
