Map Description:

Progress continues. I've gotten a bunch more migrants now; last jump was big, from 19 to 41. I don't really have jobs for them all yet, but I did add in a few new workshops to the temporary camp and have started digging out bedrooms to keep everyone happy.

Point of Interest: Excavating the North tower

Massive digout of the area where the north tower will sit. I've got 3-4 more layers to excavate before I hit the tower's top. - mattmoss

A recent, large migration has brought me a number of dwarfs who do nothing but drink strawberry wine all day. I'm going to have to give them proper tasks soon. - mattmoss

Yes, now I can begin using the barracks. I recruited four lazy migrants to become wrestlers. - mattmoss
Δ 21. Common Bedrooms
This area (and above and below as needed) is for the commoner bedrooms. This will be a tower shorter than the main (front) tower, but wider (as will be the other two towers north and south of the main tower... see the highlighted area). I could probably pack in more rooms, but this place is going to be rather large, so I won't have any lack of space by following this pattern (30 bedrooms per floor). - mattmoss
Δ 21. Cross Section
Here you can see the cross section of Elderstone. One main, central tower which will be the tallest (and the top has been dug out). Three shorter towers (tops not yet excavated) but a bit wider. The east tower will be primarily housing, with perhaps a drinking garden on the roof. The north tower will probably be a lot of food production/processing, while the south tower will be other crafts/metalworks. Still in design.
The little 2-wide vertical strip designated (which you also see in all the levels above) is intended for plumbing. - mattmoss
