Demonstration of annoying food bug, which started after a recent mining activity. This bug involves hungry dwarves constantly canceling eat jobs, stopping all useful activity and spamming messages until they starve to death. The food my dwarves couldn't path to probably belonged to an Olm Man civilization that I knew lived under my fortress, but never found. Food area located by waiting until Id (my glitched dwarf) decided to eat the Olm Man food, and then forbidding areas until job was canceled due to item being lost. What is bizarre is that some of the digging designations turned into plant gathering, and others just disappeared altogether (although this is probably an unrelated glitch). Other dwarves are idle because I forbid everything I owned before finally finding the bugged food.
Important: If the movie appears blank or fails to play it is because it was recorded using a corrupt version of Dwarf Fortress. This is a known bug and is reported in the tracker, bug 2489. The DFMA administration is in the process of cleaning up these movies from the site; and hopes bay12games will fix the game functionality soon.
