I've further tweaked the volcano source, I've also set up a large series of personal rooms for the dwarves. Moved some furniture into my new dining room.
I knocked out some of the walls and put in a couple of pumps to add some more power, it seems to work better. - squirrelwizard

Yeah so I've gone ahead and abandoned this fortress, I've learned a good deal from it, but I just dont feel like waiting out a massive tantrum spiral. Sorry the volcano isn't completed.
